Aaron Parker
Parker had another week of limited action and struggled. He went 2-13 with 4 strikeouts. He did drive in three runs, but there was not much to carry into next week after a hot start.
Adrian Santana
Santana continues to flash at the plate and stand out defensively. He went 4-19 with only 3 strikeouts this week. He walked twice and recorded a hit in four of five games played. He also stole two bases and continues to be a threat on the bases.
Aidan Miller
Miller is still dealing with back issues and has not yet progressed to full swinging. The hope is that this is not a long-term injury, but back issues are tough.
Aidan Smith
Smith is still out with an injury and hopes to return soon. No update since last week on this though.
Alex Clemmey
Clemmey had mixed results in his last start but struggled with his command. He pitched 3.1 innings and only allowed 2 hits and 2 runs. The problem was he surrendered 6 walks. These somehow did not really come back to hurt him, but that is not sustainable.
Alexander Albertus
Albertus is still working his way back to full season ball and rehabbing. The hope is that he finishes ramping up soon, but there is no rush as the organization just wants to see him get healthy after multiple serious injuries.
Arjun Nimmala
After looking to have found his footing towards the end of last week, Nimmala has picked up where he left off this week. He reached base in all six games played and had two multi-hit games. He went 8-23 with 3 walks. He did still strikeout six times, which is still slightly concerning, but he has overall been good at the plate.
Bairon Ledesma
Still no season debut as rookie ball has not started yet.
Ben Hess
Hess is still on the injured list and there has not been any update on his status.
Bernard Moon
Moon really struggled with strikeouts this week after performing really well last week, he took a step back. He went 4-22 with 12 strikeouts. He did hit a homerun and a double, but outside of that, a forgettable week for the left fielder.
Billy Amick
Amick had a great week and reached base safely in all five games played. He also hit his first three homeruns in consecutive games and really looks to have become comfortable in double A. He went 5-17 with 3 walks and only 5 strikeouts.
Blake Burke
After a up and down week last week, Burke looked much better this week. He reached base safely in all six games and recorded a hit in five of six. He also had two multi-hit games. Overall, Burke went 7-24 with 5 doubles and a triple this week. The strikeout numbers are still a little high, but he should continue to improve.
Blake Wright
Still no update on Wright’s return from injury and he has not yet made his season debut.
Boston Bateman
Bateman had his worst start of the season this week, going only 2.1 and getting hit hard. Command was a problem as well, walking two and hitting a batter. The ugly part was that he allowed 9 hits and 7 runs in just over 2 innings of work. He did keep the ball in the park, but this did not help.
Braden Montgomery
Montgomery has another typical week for him. Some good games, but also a lot of strikeouts. He went 5-23 with 9 strikeouts. He did also walk four times, which is a positive, but the strikeout numbers really limit his success.
Braylon Payne
Payne went crazy this week at the plate, recording incredible numbers. He homered in four of five games played, and recorded a hit in all five games. Overall, he went 9-20 with 4 homeruns, 3 doubles, and four walks. He only struck out four times, and showed what he can do when he is not swinging and missing.
Brody Hopkins
Hopkins had his best start of the season, but still struggled with his command. While there was improvement, and he went deep into the game, he walked three and hit a batter. The positives were that he struck out 5 and limited the damage despite allowing 4 hits and 4 free passes to only surrender 3 runs. He will have to continue to work on his command if he hopes to get the call up.
Brooks Brannon
Brannon made his season debut this week after recovering from hamate surgery and has impressed early. In his season debut, he went 1-3 with a double, RBI, and 2 walks. He followed this up with his first home run of the season in a 1-4 performance. In his last game of the week, he went 0-2 with 2 walks. Overall, he went 2-9 with 4 walks and 3 strikeouts. Impressive after a multiple month absence.
Bryce Cunningham
Cunningham was activated from the injured list to end the week and assigned to high A. He should make his highly anticipated season debut very soon. Likely short starts or following an opener to begin his season, but he should ramp up quick if all goes well.
Bryce Rainer
Despite struggling with strikeouts early on, Rainer was promoted to high A. The strikeout problem continues in a higher level as he struck out 12 times in his first 5 games. Overall, he did have 4 hits and a walk.
Cam Caminiti
After two really solid start in a row, Caminiti regressed in his last time out. He pitched 4.1 innings and got hit hard. After 10 innings without allowing a walk, he surrendered 3 as well as 6 hits and 4 runs. He only struck out two batters and just did not miss bats.
Carson DeMartini
DeMartini looks to have found his footing in double A and had a very good week. He hit in all five games, and has an 8-game hitting streak active. He has also reached base safely in 12 straight games. Overall, he went 7-20 with a homerun, 2 doubles, and 2 walks. He only struck out three times, and made a ton of hard contact.
Carter Johnson
Johnson continues to improve at the player but still struggles with swing and miss. He went 5-22 with a homerun and 3 walks. He did strike out multiple times in 3 of six games played and at least once in five of six this week which is a problem.
Carter Mathison
Mathison is in a very big slump to start the season, striking out too much. This week, he did hit his first two doubles, which hopefully will help him break out of this. For the week, he went 2-16 with 7 strikeouts.
Casey Cook
Cook is still on the 60-day IL. No return in the near future, he will continue to miss time.
Charlee Soto
Soto is nearing a return soon. Pitching live and looking good, but still no activation from the injured list.
Chase Harlan
Harlan did a good job cutting his strikeouts down this week, but it did not result in a ton of success just yet. He went 3-17 with 4 walks and only 3 strikeouts. His approach improved and the results should come soon.
Chris Cortez
Cortez had his best start of the season but still really struggled with command. He pitched 4.2 scoreless innings and only allowed 2 hits. The problem was that he walked 5 batters. He did a great job limiting the damage, but it caused him an early exit. His stuff is good and he keeps the ball on the ground, but really struggles to stay in the zone.
Cobb Hightower
Hightower is still out with an injury and there is no update on his status yet.
Cole Fontenelle
Fontenelle played two games last week after returning from injury, but has since been placed back on the injury list. No updated on his status, but hopefully his next return will be a long-term return.
Cole Carrigg
Carrigg is on fire and currently in the midst of a seven-game hitting streak. For the week, he went 7-16 with 3 walks and only 1 strikeout. He also stole four bases this week and was very impressive. He has also shined at both short and center, making highlight plays at both positions this week.
Cole Mathis
Mathis had a great first two games in high A but struggled since. He went 4-24 overall after a 3-9 start with 3 doubles and 2 walks. He finished the week with 4 walks overall and 8 strikeouts. He should adjust and turn it around soon.
Cole Messina
Messina had a solid week, and flashed with a lot of positives. Such as the fact that he only struck out three times in six games. Overall, he went 3-14 with a double and 6 walks.
Colt Emerson
Emerson only played in three games this week and flashed, but his early strikeout issue returned. He went 3-14 with a homerun 5 strikeouts. He did walk 3 times though, which is a positive. He seems to have found his power, but is still struggling with too much swing and miss.
Cooper Pratt
Pratt struggled early in the week with strikeouts, but improved as the week ended. Overall, he went 5-29 with a triple and 5 walks. He did strikeout six times, but five of those came in his first three games of the week. Currently, he is on a four-game hitting streak and has reached base safely in five of his last six games played. Defensively, he is a great shortstop and the glove plays at any level. The bat just needs to continue to improve.
Colin Houck
Houck continues to really struggle with strikeouts, and this week was more of the same. He went 3-18 with 9 strikeouts. Most of those came in two games, so he did have some promising performances. Still, his strikeout rate is at 40% which is brutal.
Dillon Head
Head is on the injured list currently and really struggled in his six games before injury. Hopefully when he returns, he can find some success.
Dylan Dreiling
Dreiling returned from injury and picked up right where he left off. He went 4-14 with 2 walks. He did strikeout five times in four games, but after a week off, some rust is expected.
Echedry Vargas
Vargas only played in three games this week, but played incredible. He went 5-11 with 2 walks and only 3 strikeouts. Limited action, but impressive overall.
Eddie Rynders
Rynders is struggling so much and is borderline unplayable currently with a 57% strikeout rate. This week, he went 1-18 with 12 strikeouts. Truly a struggle for the shortstop at the plate.
Eduardo Quintero
Quintero has struggled overall, but had his best week. The strikeout rate is still a big problem, but he is still young for the level and adjusting. He went 5-22 with 5 walks. The concern is that he still struck out 11 times. Some positives to carry into next week, but also concerns with his consistent swing and miss.
Eduardo Tait
Tait had another great week at the plate and seems comfortable now. He went 6-23 with 2 homeruns, 2 doubles, and only 6 strikeouts. There is room to improve on the strikeout rate, but it is not horrible.
Ethan Anderson
Anderson bounced back after a rough week last week. He did strikeout six times which is uncharacteristic, but he still walked three times and went 7-20 with 2 doubles. Solid week after a rough showing last week.
Engelth Urena
Urena seems to have started to put it all together and is on a four-game hitting streak. This week he went 4-24 with 4 walks. He struck out five times, but that is a step in the right direction.
Fenwick Trimble
Trimble had a solid week as he continues to try to bounce back from a really slow start. He went 4-22 with a double and two walks. He only struck out four times which is a positive in an otherwise forgettable week.
Franklin Arias
Arias had an incredible week and showed a ton of power. He went 8-24 with 4 homeruns, 2 doubles, and only 2 strikeouts. While he did not walk, he made a ton of hard contact and was rewarded for it.
George Wolkow
Wolkow had a rough week, but did hit a homerun. Overall, he went 2-20 with 2 walks. His strikeout issue returned and he had 12 for the week.
Hyun-Seok Jang
Jang was impressive in his second start of the year, despite only pitching 4 innings. He struck out four batters, while allowing no walks and only 3 hits. The only run allowed was unearned and he kept the ball in the ballpark unlike his season debut. He did hit a batter, but his command was overall really good.
Ivan Luciano
After a really strong week, Luciano struggled a bit this week. He went 4-19 overall but walked 3 times and only struck out once. A lot of positives to take from this week despite having three hitless games.
Jack Penney
Penney is still on the 60-day injury list. No update on his progress, as he will miss significant time.
Jackson Ferris
Ferris has another brutal performance in triple A and it was ugly. While his command was better and he only walked two batters over 4.1 innings, he allowed 10 hits and 7 runs. Two of those hits left the ballpark and that is hard to overcome. Ferris has not been good this year so far and will need to adjust.
Jacob Cozart
Cozart had a huge bounce back week at the plate. He went 7-20 with a homerun and 5 walks. He struck out 5 times but this did not really hurt his numbers.
Jaison Chourio
Chourio had another really strong week at the plate after an incredible showing last week. He went 6-17 with two doubles and 4 walks. He only struck out five times as well, so not bad.
Jared Serna
Serna had another really solid week and hit his first homerun of the season. He went 5-18 with 2 walks and only 1 strikeout. Really strong showing as he looks to earn a chance with the Marlins.
Jared Sundstrom
The huge strikeout issue returned this week unfortunately. He went 2-14 with a double and 8 strikeouts. Last week was solid, but he did not build off of it.
Jared Thomas
Thomas is still on the seven-day injured list and there is no update just yet. He is still recovering from wrist surgery in the offseason.
Jay Beshears
Beshears bounced back from a rough week with three multi-hit games. He went 6-17 with a homerun, triple, and a walk. He did strikeout 8 times which is a problem, but otherwise it was a solid week.
JD Dix
While Dix is still struggling at the plate, he did go a full week without striking out. He went 3-13 with 3 walks. A solid showing, but there is still a long way to go.
Jeral Perez
Perez had another average week where he did record hits in five of six games played, but struggled with strikeouts late in the week. He went 6-25 with a homerun, 2 doubles, and 3 walks. Perez did have six strikeouts, but they all came in his last three games played after having none in his first three games of the week.
Jeremy Rodriguez
Still no update on Rodriguez as he is still on the injured list. Hopefully he can return soon as he has not played yet this season.
Jesus Made
Made continues to stack good week in double A and shows why he is a consensus top five prospect in baseball. He looks great at short and continues to hit. For the week, he went 5-25 with 4 walks and 4 stolen bases. Only 3 strikeouts as well is very solid.
Joe Vetrano
Vetrano continues to flash at the plate, but strikeouts piled up this week. He went 5-21 with 9 strikeouts. He did have a 3-hit game, but he also had multiple strikeouts in half of his games played.
Joendry Vargas
Vargas had a solid week and cut his strikeouts down for most of it. His last game of the week was up and down. He went 2-7 with a double and 3 strikeouts. This almost doubled his strikeout total for the week. Overall, he went 7-29 with a homerun, 2 doubles, and 8 strikeouts. He also stole four bases this week.
John Spikerman
Not really a good week for Spikerman, but also not a bad one. He went 2-10 in three starts with 4 walks and 3 strikeouts. His approach was good, despite limited at bats.
Jonathon Long
Long struggled a bit this week, but was still solid. He went 6-27 with a double, and 3 walks. He struck out 6 times but this was not a huge issue overall. The concern is that he has not really hit for power yet after showing a ton last year.
Jonny Farmelo
It was an up and down week for Farmelo who showed flashes but struggled overall. He went 4-23 with 4 doubles, a triple, and 4 walks. He did strikeout seven times in his last four games which really hurt his stats for the week.
Joshua Kuroda-Grauer
Grauer had another really strong week and looks to have returned to form as one of the toughest strikeouts in minor league baseball. He has shown power that has not been seen in his game previously though which is intriguing. This week he went 8-32 with 2 doubles, a homerun, and a walk. He only struck out twice which is really impressive. He has already more then doubled his career high in homeruns and tied his college career high in 21 games.
Josue De Paula
De Paula had another great week and stood out in multiple ways. He walked 8 times in six games. He also had a 3 hit game and went 6-19 overall. Only 4 strikeouts for the week and those all came in the last week. He also showed his speed stealing three bases in one game.
Juan Baez
Baez had a rough week, where he went hitless in four of five games played, but he did reach base safely in three of them. Overall, he went 2-15 with 3 walks and only 1 strikeout. The low strikeout number is a great sign and his approach is very good. Success should come soon for him as he starts to make better contact.
Juan Flores
Flores really struggled last week and early into this week. He did end the week with two straight games with a hit and no strikeouts. He also hit as homerun. In four games, he went 2-16 with 4 strikeouts and 2 walks. Hopefully he can build off of his last two games and pick up where he started from early on.
Kash Mayfield
After three straight scoreless appearances, Mayfield finally allowed a run. In 4 innings, he allowed 3 hits 2 walks, and 3 runs. One of those hits left the ballpark which led to him picking up a loss. His era is still only 1.69 so he is still having an incredible start to his season.
Kelvin Hidalgo
Hidalgo had a rough start to the week, but ended it on a three-game hitting streak and went deep. He went 3-20 with 7 strikeouts. Signs of life, but still way too much swing and miss.
Kavares Tears
Tears is still struggling but did play better than last week. He went 3-16 with a double and 2 walks. He still struck out five times which is his real weakness.
Khadim Diaw
It was a rough week for Diaw at the plate where strikeouts were happening just way too frequently. He went 3-20 with 7 strikeouts. Only one walk as well, so not many positives this week.
Kyle DeBarge
It is still a struggle for DeBarge. Not just at the plate, but also surprisingly in the field. He went 5-21 with six strikeouts. He did look to start cutting down on strikeouts, but there is still work to be done.
Kyle Henley
Henley had another solid week, but the last game of the week was tough. He had lowered his strikeout rate with only three in his first four games, before a 0-5 3 strikeout day. Overall, he went 8-26 with a triple, 2 walks, and 3 stolen bases.
Leo De Vris
Another week, another strong showing for De Vris. He went 8-29 with 2 homeruns, 3 doubles, and 2 walks. He did strikeout 12 times which is a real concern. This has been an issue all year and it is one of the very few negative parts of his game so far.
Lisbel Diaz
Diaz had a huge week and really showed up at the plate. He went 5-20 with 3 homeruns and only 1 strikeout. He made a ton of hard contact and it showed. While his average does not look great, it is only a matter of time before he starts being rewarded more for his balls put in play.
Luis Almeyda
It was a huge bounce back week for Almeyda who really cut down his strikeouts. He went 4-17 with 3 walks and only 3 strikeouts. This is a huge step in the right direction for the young shortstop.
Luis Baez
Baez looks to have maybe found something that works for him after a brutal stretch. He has a four-game hitting streak ongoing and went 6-16 with only 3 strikeouts. While he is still not hitting for power like he used too, this is a good sign at least and something for him to build off of.
Luke Adams
Adams is still on the injured list and hopes to return soon. No recent updates, but he should not miss too much time.
Max Clark
Clark had a down week at the plate, but still only struck out four times. He went 2-18 with 3 walks and 2 stolen bases. Even when not hitting, he finds ways to still make an impact.
Marvin Alcantara
Alcantara is still struggling at the plate, but at least he is not striking out much. This week he went 3-18 with only 2 strikeouts. He did have a quick four game hitting streak, but that has since ended.
Nate Nankil
Nankil returned to action this week and had a solid showing. In three games, he went 3-10 with 2 walks and only 1 strikeout. Strong showing where he reached base safely in all games.
Nick McLain
Still on the 60-day injured list. No update on his progress yet.
Nick Mitchell
Overall a rough week for Mitchell, but he did show some flashes. He went 3-19 with a homerun, double, and 6 walks. He struck out 8 times though which is a concern. Strikeouts had not really been a problem previously, so not sure if this is just a bad week or a sign of some future struggles.
Nick Morabito
Another strong week for Morabito as he tries to position himself for a chance with the struggling Mets. He went 6-21 with a homerun, 2 doubles, and 7 walks. He did strikeout seven times, which is a red flag, but still performed well.
PJ Morlando
It was another rough week full of strikeouts for Morlando. He did show a flew flashes with his second homerun, two multi-walk games, and a multi-hit game, but also had four multi-strikeout games in six games played. He has stayed healthy which is the biggest positive and has played well defensively, but the bat leaves a lot to be desired.
Ramon Ramirez
Ramirez had a better week, and lowered his strikeout rate significantly. He went 5-24 with a homerun, 2 doubles, and a walk. He struck out 5 times and really lowrred his number from last week.
Rikuu Nishida
Nishida is still adjusting to the level and his strikeout rate is higher than usual, but they have really just come from a few rough games. He had two in one, three in another and then none in four other games this week. Overall, he went 8-25 with a walk and only 6 strikeouts.
Robert Calaz
Calaz had a rough week, going hitless in four of his five games played. Overall, he went 1-18 with a triple. The positive note was that he only struck out four times and they all came in two games. Positives in an ugly week stat wise.
Romeo Sanabria
It was a brutal week for Sanabria at the plate. He went 2-19 and went hitless in four of his five games played. He also struck out eight times and raised his already high strikeout rate.
Ryan Campos
Campos continues to improve and posted another solid week. He went 7-20 with 2 doubles. He walked three times and only struck out five times as well. A really promising week for an interesting prospect.
Ryan Sloan
Sloan has a very solid showing this week despite only pitching 4.1 innings. He allowed only 3 hits and 2 runs. He also only walked two which is a step in the right direction. He is still very raw, but his stuff is nasty. He did allow his first homerun of the season, but also struck out a season high seven batters.
Sean Keys
Keys is absolutely locked in at the plate and had another incredible week. He recorded a hit in all five games, and hit 4 homeruns. He hit two in one game as well, showing off his game changing power. After only 1 strikeout in his first three games, he did strikeout five times in his last two. He also made his first error of the year at third, but has overall looked much improved out there. For the week, he went 6-20 at the plate which is really solid.
Seaver King
King continues to hit and is currently in the middle of a six-game hitting streak, where he has also reached base safely in all 19 games played. In five games played this week, he went 6-23 with a homerun and double. He only struck out four times which is not terrible either. The concern is that he has already made 6 errors at short and one at second base already.
Sebastian Walcott
Walcott is still out for a long period of time with an injury. Still a longshot that he even plays at all this year.
Sheng-En Lin
Lin bounced back and looked much better this time out. He pitched 4.1 and allowed 4 hits and 2 walks. He did a good job limiting damage to only 2 runs though. Did not get as much swing and miss as he had in earlier starts, but he is only four starts in as a full-time pitcher, so he should continue to improve.
Slade Caldwell
Caldwell had a better week and actually showed some promise offensively. He went 3-15 with 5 walks. He also stole four bases. The problem is he struck out seven times and his strikeout rate is way too high.
Spencer Nivens
Nivens is still out with an injury and there is no update on his progress.
Tai Peete
Peete had another great week and recorded a hit in all five games. Overall, he went 6-23 with a homerun, triple, and a double. He did get thrown out on both of his stolen base attempts, and strikeout seven times though, which is a concern.
Thayron Liranzo
Liranzo was sent to high A for his rehab after injury and tore it up. He has just been promoted back to double A and will start next week. For the week, he went 6-13 with 2 walks and only 2 strikeouts. An impressive week for the young catcher.
Theo Gillen
Gillen returned to the field after a week out of the lineup and was great. He went 7-19 with 2 homeruns. His power has surprised and after missing some time, he picked up where he left off. He only struck out three times, while walking twice.
Travis Bazzana
Bazzana had another strong week and earned a call up to the majors. In five games, he went 5-25 with a homerun, double, and 9 walks. He did strikeout 9 times as well, but his numbers were still solid.
Travis Honeyman
Honeyman had another really solid week and limited his strikeouts. He went 4-18 with his first homerun of the year and two walks. He also drove in three runs and only struck out four times.
Ty Southisene
Southisene had a solid week, even with his average dropping a good bit. He went 4-20 with 2 triples and only 1 strikeout. He put the ball in play in almost every at bat and that is promising as he is so quick and can beat out infield hits consistently.
Tyson Lewis
Lewis had another brutal week both offensively and in the field. He is now up to 7 errors across short and third base in 16 games played while hitting .183 with 33 strikeouts in 82 at bats. For the week, he went 3-20 with 10 strikeouts and only 1 walk.
Walker Jenkins
Jenkins had a better week and really limited his strikeouts. He went 5-20 with his first homerun of the season, 2 doubles, and six walks. He only struck out three time as well which is really solid in comparison to previous weeks.
Yeremi Cabrera
Cabrera had another solid week, but the strikeout numbers are concerning. He went 4-24 with 8 strikeouts. He did hit a homerun, 2 doubles and steal three bases. He also walked five times as well, so there were plenty of positives.
Yoelin Cespedes
Cepsedes had another really solid week at the plate and went three games without a strikeout. Overall, he went 6-25 with 3 doubles and a homerun. While he did strikeout six times in total, he also walked five times to counter that.
Yoffry Solano
Solano made his full season ball debut this week and had some really positive moments. In his first game, he went 1-2 with 2 walks.
Yohandy Morales
Morales had another really strong week and continues to impress. He reached base in five of six games played and recorded a hit in four of them. Overall, he went 6-21 with a homerun, 3 doubles, and 3 walks. He only struck out five times as well and was very solid.
Yolfran Castillo
Castillo continued to not strikeout and it led to a huge week. He went 9-28 with 3 doubles and 2 walks. He only struck out twice as well which is impressive.
Zander Mueth
Mueth’s command is really bad and he struggled very badly in his last start. In 3.2 innings, he hit three batters and walked four more. He somehow only allowed 2 runs but it was ugly. He only allowed 1 hit, which is a positive, but he was completely out of control and had no idea where the ball was going.
Zyhir Hope
Hope had another solid week with a lot of positives, but still had some issues with swinging and missing. He went 7-24 with 6 strikeouts. He had three multi hit games in six games played.
MLB
Agustin Ramirez
Ramirez had a solid week, but has not really hit for power at all. He went 6-21 with a double. He only struck out three times The power should start to show soon, as he has a big-time bat.
Brice Matthews
Matthews struggles continued, but he started off the week with a 2-3 performance. Since, he went 0-10 with 3 strikeouts. Not sure how long these struggles will continue before a demotion happens.
Bryce Eldridge
Eldridge had an up and down week, but did end it with three straight games without s strikeout and that is a big step in the right direction. For the week, he went 6-22 with a homerun. While he did strikeout six times, he also walked three times which is good. Still need to continue lowering the strikeout rate to find his way back to the Giants.
Caleb Durbin
Durbin is still battling and has not been good at the plate. After starting the week 0-10 in three games, he seems to have started to figure it out. He has gone 5-14 with a double, homerun, and 3 walks since. The positive is that he only struck out three times and built a solid stretch of games to build off of.
Cam Smith
Smith is really struggling again and his strikeout rate is rising. He went 2-4 with a strikeout in his first game, and has gone 0-13 with 8 strikeouts since. After such a great start, this is a real concern as he does not look like the same player as he did 2 weeks ago.
Carson Benge
Benge has looked much better at the plate and only struck out once in five games. Overall, he went 5-15 and had some unlucky balls in play where defenders stole hits from him. He hit his second homerun of the season as well and it was in one of his two multi-hit games of the week.
Carson Williams
Williams flashes at the plate, but strikeouts are still a problem. He hit in five of six games this week, but overall went 5-22 with 3 walks. 6 strikeouts in triple A is still concerning, as it truly hurts his numbers.
Christian Moore
Moore had a solid week but is still struggling with strikeouts. He went 6-18 with a homerun, 2 triples, and 4 walks. He did strikeout five times, but this was an improvement.
Colson Montgomery
Montgomery extended his two-game home run streak form last year into four, homering in the first two games. Overall, he went 8-27 with a walk and 3 hit by pitches. He did strikeout eight times still, but improved throughout the week.
Dalton Rushing
Rushing has forced his way into the lineup almost every day and had another solid week. He went 3-12 with 4 walks and a hit by pitch. He only struck out three times as well and has looked really good.
Jac Caglianone
Jac had a great week and seems to have finally adjusted to major league pitching. He went 3-13 with a homerun and 2 walks. He did still strikeout five times, but three came in one game.
Jonah Tong
It was another rough performance for Tong this week, but the wheel did not fall off this time. He only pitched 4.2 innings and allowed 5 hits, 3 runs, and walked three. He also hit a batter. He did still strikeout six hitters, but struggled with command and got himself in trouble.
Jose Fernandez
Fernandez continues to rake and finally hit another homerun. For the week, he went 8-16 with a homerun and a double. He did walk twice and only struck out three times. He was a true wildcard prospect and looks to be a potential star.
Kevin McGonigle
McGonigles on base streak continued and his hit streak is not up to 11 games. A truly special talent with a bat. For the week, he went 9-24 with a homerun, 4 doubles, and 3 walks. He only struck out three times as well.
Kristian Campbell
Campbell continues to stand out and had another strong week. He went 6-19 with 4 walks. Strikeouts are still an issue though, as he had six during the week. A Lot of positives, but still too much swing and miss.
Kyle Teel
Teel has not yet begun rehab as the hamstring injury is still bothering him. The hope is for soon, but there is no real exact date. The team is just waiting on him to feel better consistently then he will begin ramping up.
Marcelo Mayer
Mayer has finally found some success after really struggling. This week he went 7-15 with 3 doubles and a walk. He did not strikeout and has not in 7 games. Real growth for a talented young player. Mayer also is in the middle of a six-game hitting streak currently and looks like he belongs.
Matt Shaw
Matt Shaw had another strong week and has solidified himself as a great right-handed platoon bat. He went 4-10 with 2 walks and only 2 strikeouts. His numbers against righties are not horrible, but he is hitting .333/.385/.528 with a .912 OPS against lefties.
Nick Kurtz
Kurtz looks to have fully regained his form after a brutal opening to his season. He went 6-20 with 2 homeruns and 5 walks. He did still strikeout seven times, but overall, he looks much better. He has reached base safely in 16 straight games which is incredible.
Roman Anthony
Anthony has only played in three games this week, but his struggles continue. He went 1-10 with 5 strikeouts, He did walk three times, so it is not all negative. Anthony has so much potential, but the results just have not shown.
Sam Antonacci
Antonacci is still figuring it out at the big-league level, but has shown flashes at the plate and has played two positions defensively. For the week, he went 5-18 with a homerun, triple, and a double. He only struck out twice and looks like he belongs.
Samuel Basallo
While it was only three games, he was incredible this week. He went 7-13 with two homeruns and a double. He only struck out twice and looks to have finally put it all together.
Trey Yesavage
Yesavage is now back with the big-league club after completing his rehab and will start on April 28th.
