Hope you enjoy reading and share your thoughts in the comments!

Aaron Parker

Parker only played in two games this week, but was very good in both. Overall, he went 5-8 with 4 RBIS, a walk, a run scored and only 2 strikeouts. A strong showing in limited action.

Adrian Santana

Santana had a very strong week and if he continues to stack then, he should get a promotion. He looks great defensively at short and had been very solid at the plate. For the week, he went 6-20 with a double, 2 walks, and only 3 strikeouts. He also stole three bases and has been standing out.

Aidan Miller

Miller is still dealing with a back issue. It was reported that he has started swinging a bat recently, but there is no confirmation on this. Tough injury to work back from that the organization hopes is not a long term or career debilitating injury.

Aidan Smith

Smith still seems to be day to day with some injury issues. Sounds like it was a hamstring issue which can take time to work through.

Alex Clemmey

Clemmey had another short start this week, only pitching 2.2 innings. He allowed 3 hits, 3 runs (2 earned), and 2 walks. The positive sign was that he did strikeout five batters. The strikeout rate is impressive (31%), as is the elite ground ball rate (52%), the walk rate is very high at 21%. He will need to improve this if he hopes to go deeper into games.

Alexander Albertus

Albertus looks to be ramping up for a return to rookie ball after a devastating injury. Currently, he is in extended spring training, and hopes to find his way back to rookie ball soon. He is playing third and DH as he continues to build back confidence in his body after his last few years have been destroyed by injuries.

Arjun Nimmala

Nimmala had a much better week this time, going 5-19 with 2 homeruns. 5 strikeouts in 4 games is still a concern since he is not really walking, but his power has arrived. He just needs to show this consistently.

Bairon Ledesma

Rookie ball still has not started, so no update on Ledesma yet.

Ben Hess

Hess missed his third start and is currently on the 87-day injured list. This seems to have played a part in his struggle with his command last time out. Hopefully this is just a quick absence and he picks up where he left off.

Bernard Moon

Moon had another really good week at the plate. Going 8-20 with a home run, 4 doubles, and 3 walks. He did strikeout 4 times, but this did not hurt his performance much. Defensively he has also looked solid at both second and in left. The versatility helps him open multiple paths to the next level.

Billy Amick

Amick had a rough week, but did flash. He hit another homerun as well as 3 doubles, but did strike out 8 times. Overall, he went 5-25 with 2 walks. Defensively, he has continued to see time at both corner infield spots and has been solid.

Blake Burke

Burke had a down week compared to his first few, but was still solid. He had four hitless games, where he went 0-15 with 7 strikeouts. He did walk five times though. In his two good games, he went 4-9 with a homerun, double and only 2 strikeouts.

Blake Wright

Wright is still out with an injury. No real update yet, but he should ramp up quickly once he is ready.

Braden Montgomery

Montgomery had a huge week and the key was limiting strikeouts. He only struck out three times this week which is a big step in the right direction. He went 12-20 with 4 walks. A really solid week and a flash at what is is capable of doing when he is not consistently swinging and missing.

Brody Hopkins

Hopkins had another strong showing in his last start. He only pitched 4.1 but struck out eight batters and only allowed 3 hits and 2 runs. The problem is still the lack of command. 5 walks will not cut it and will hurt him in the majors. He has really good stuff and has had a ton of success, but the walk will continue to limit him.

Brooks Brannon

Brannon is still working back from hamate surgery. Seems to be right on schedule and should hopefully take some real batting practice soon.

Braylon Payne

Payne returned to the lineup after a brief absence and was great. His return game saw him go 2-2 with a walk, RBI, run scored, and 2 stolen bases. For the week, he went 5-12 with a home run, double, 4 walks, and only 3 strikeouts. He has not played since the 18th and seems to be out of the lineup some days each week, but his speed and impressive defense have flashed.

Bryce Cunningham

Still out with arm soreness, Cunningham hopes to come back soon. He did pitch this week in extended spring training for the first step in his return to full season ball.

Bryce Eldridge

Eldridge had another strong week, but ended it with three straight 2 strikeout games which is a concern. Overall, he went 5-23 with a homerun and a double.8 strikeouts is what is holding him back still. He seems like he will always be a 30% strikeout rate guy, but will need to hit for more power to move back up.

Bryce Ranier

Rainer showed some signs this week and earned a promotion to high A. The Tigers fast tracked him up despite a 40% strikeout rate. For the week, he went 4-17 with 2 doubles and 2 walks. He did strikeout twice in four of five games and seven times overall which is a real problem. This is something he will really need to work on at the next level.

Boston Bateman

Bateman had his best start of the season so far this week, but still only went 3 innings. He allowed only 2 hits, 1 walk, and 1 batter hit in a scoreless appearance. This is a step in the right direction, as he also struck out five batters. Growth from the giant left hander.

Cam Caminiti

Caminiti threw his best start of the season last time out. Going five shutout innings, allowing only three baserunners (2 hits, 1 HBP). Second appearance without allowing a walk though which is really impressive. He throws strikes and has great stuff to challenge hitters.

Carson Benge

After starting to turn it around last week, Benge struggled again this week. He went 2-14 with 4 strikeouts and only 1 walk. He has good at bats and battles, but this has not resulted in hits unfortunately.

Carson DeMartini

DeMartini continued to hit over the last week. Going 5-21 with 2 home runs and 3 walks. He did strikeout six times, but this should improve as he continues to adjust to the level.

Carter Johnson

Johnson took a big step forward at the plate this week. He went 6-23 with a home run, 3 doubles, and 3 walks. He did strikeout 10 times, and make 2 errors in the field. Those struggles continued unfortunately.

Carter Mathison

Mathison is still really struggling at the plate, but did have a hit in two games this week. He went 2-13 with only 3 strikeouts and 2 walks. After 9 last week, 3 is a big step in the right direction. One positive in a brutal stretch.

Casey Cook

Still out and on the 60-day injured list.

Charlee Soto

Soto is still ramping up, but did throw live this week in the first step in his return from the injured list. The hope is for him to be fully ramped up and back for May.

Chase Harlan

Harlan had another strong week and is stacking them at this point. Low A seems to be too easy for the young third baseman. He went 5-21 with a homerun and 5 walks. He did strikeout seven times, which is a small concern, but still a solid week.

Chris Cortez

Cortez continues to struggle with command and it makes it impossible to go deep into games. He pitched 3.1 innings and only allowed 2 hits and 2 runs while striking out five batters. The problem was he surrendered 6 walks and hit a batter. His WHIP is now over 2 and that is just not sustainable.

Cobb Hightower

Hightower had a rough week which sadly ending in him being put on the 7-day injured list. After going 2-4 in his first game of the week, he went 0-10 in the last three games with 4 strikeouts before getting hurt.

Cole Fontenelle

After returning from injury, Fontenelle has been solid in his first two games. He is 1-5 with 2 walks so far. His hit was a triple and he has stolen a base, showing off his ability to run the bases and his quickness. 3 strikeouts in 5 at bats is a huge concern though. This will limit his ability to get on base and hurt his numbers.

Cole Carrigg

Carrigg continues to rake in triple A and should be with the Rockies soon. This week, he went 5-15 with a triple and a double. He only struck out three times, while drawing 3 walks.

Cole Mathis

Mathis had another incredible week which resulted in a call up to high A. For the week, he went 7-20 with 4 home runs, a double and a walk. He did strikeout 7 times, but he still put up ridiculous numbers and got promoted.

Cole Messina

Messina had a solid week, but there is still plenty of room for improvement. He went 3-15 with his first home run of the season. He also walked four times. The concern is he still had a strikeout in all four games played. He did steal two bases and got on base a good amount despite the swing and miss still being a problem.

Colt Emerson

Emerson really cut down his strikeouts this week, which is a great sign. Overall, for the week he went 3-13 with only 2 strikeouts. He stole 4 bases and also hit two doubles. His approach really improved as he drew 6 of his 8 walks on the year this week.

Cooper Pratt

Pratt is still struggling at the plate, but is still not really striking out. This week, he went 4-17 with 5 walks. His approach has been good, and he did start finding some success which is a good sign. The best part of his week was that he did not strikeout in five games played. Everybody knows he can play short with the best of them, but the bat is still the part of his game that has not yet been unlocked.

Colin Houck

Houck had a really solid bounce back week but there is still a big swing and miss issue. He has made a lot of really solid contact (.400 BABIP), but the strikeout rate is still 38%. For the week, he went 8-20 with 2 doubles, 2 walks. He did strikeout 9 times though which is still a red flag. There was growth though, but he will need to become more consistent and continue to improving his bat to ball skills.

Dillon Head

Head has not hit at all and has been out of the lineup since 4-11-26. Cannot blame the team as he is 1-20 overall. He is not striking out a lot, but also not even making decent contact at all.

Dylan Dreiling

Dreiling was on fire entering this week before getting hurt. He is currently on the 7-day injured list and will hope to pick up where he left off upon his return.

Echedry Vargas

Vargas struggled again this week and has not played since 4/18. Overall, he went 2-16 with 7 strikeouts. Brutal start with a lot of strikeouts so far.

Eddie Rynders

Rynders has really struggled making contact this year and has a 54% strikeout rate as of this time. This is really bad and will not play at any level. This week was really rough, going 2-19 with 10 strikeouts.

Eduardo Quintero

Quintero is still adjusting to high A and has really struggled. This week, he went 3-21 with 5 strikeouts. He did hit his first homerun of the season, so hopefully this can help him put it all together. He is too talented to struggle for much longer.

Eduardo Tait

Tait had a great week and really built off his success from last week. He went 5-14 with 2 doubles, 4 walks, and only 4 strikeouts. He hit his first two homeruns in the same game as well to start the week. Seems he has figured it out and now just needs to show he can keep it up.

Ethan Anderson

Anderson came crashing back to Earth after an incredible start to the season. He went hitless in three games (0-12) with 3 strikeouts and no walks. The lack of walks is the most surprising, as he had been drawing a ton early on. He should bounce back quickly though as he has shown a great approach at the plate.

Engelth Urena

Urena had a much better week at the plate but is still struggling overall. He has already made 4 errors behind the plate as well which is rough. For the week, he went 3-15 with only 2 strikeouts. He is still walking at an impressive rate and has stolen a couple bases already as well. A real raw prospect with tools that are still developing.

Fenwick Trimble

Trimble’s struggles continued in his first two games of the week, going 0-9with 2 strikeouts. He then got red hot and went 7-15 with 2 doubled and 3 walks. He did strikeout 6 times, but started making solid contact and the results showed. He takes a four-game hit streak into next week and looks to continue stacking good games.

Franklin Arias

Arias is playing out of his mind right now. Going 4-13 with 3 homeruns, 3 walks, and only 1 strikeout this week. He is seeing the ball so well and hitting the ball very hard. If he can continue to succeed, he should not stay in Portland for long.

George Wolkow

Wolkow had a great week and really limited the strikeouts. He went 5-21 with 2 homeruns, a double and 2 walks. He still struck out 7 times, but this was better than last week. He has made a ton of hard contact and this should get even better as he continues to adjust to the level.

Hyun-Seok Jang

Jang made his season debut in low A this week and had a solid showing. He pitched 5 innings and allowed only 2 hits while striking out 5. He also only walked one batter and his command was very good. The negative was that both of the hits he allowed were solo homeruns. A lot of positives to carry into his next start.

Ivan Luciano

Luciano had a great week and looks to be adjusting to low A. While he still is not walking (0 this week), he hit the ball well. He went 6-20 with 2 doubles. He did strikeout 5 times, which is a little concerning, but he should improve on this as he continues to develop.

Jack Penney

Still on the 60-day injured list. No update just yet for Penney.

Jackson Ferris

Ferris struggled again in his last start with both command and with missing bats. He walked five batters while also allowing six hits and 3 runs over 4 innings. Only two strikeouts which is a concern, because he is getting hit really hard. He needs to throw more strikes, or he will continue to struggle.

Jacob Cozart

Cozart had another rough week at the plate, but showed some flashes. He went 3-16 with 2 walks. The concern was that he did strikeout five times in five games.

Jaison Chourio

Chourio had an incredible week recording multiple hits in all four games. He went 9-19 with 2 homeruns. He only struck out three times as well which was a huge improvement.

Jared Serna

Serna had a rough week after looking to have broken out last week. In four games, he went 1-9 with a double. He only struck out twice but did not walk. This is something to watch as he will likely have to adjust his approach at the plate.

Jared Sundstrom

Sundstrom had a very solid week despite the stats not looking the greatest. He a full week without a strikeout which is incredible for him. Overall, he went 3-14 with a double and 2 walks. This is a week he needs to build off of because it was a huge step in the right direction.

Jared Thomas

No update yet on Thomas who is on the 7-day injured list. He is still working his way back from hamate surgery.

Jay Beshears

Beshears had another up and down week, but did hit his first homerun of the season. Overall, he went 2-13 with 2 walks. He did strikeout seven times though which is a real issue. Too much swing and miss really is hurting his performance.

JD Dix

After a brutal week last week, Dix started to string together some good at bats. He went 6-19 with a double and 2 walks. The problem is that he has 8 strikeouts in that span so he is still struggling with that. Tough results early, but he will continue to adjust and improve.

Jeral Perez

Perez had his first rough week of the season and went hitless in four of his five games played. Overall, he went 1-20 with his first homerun of the season. He alos struck out eight times which is a real problem. Rough week but he should bounce back from this.

Jeremy Rodriguez

Rodriguez is still on the injured list but hopes to return soon. No updates recently though.

Jesus Made

Made had another really strong week, and just keeps stacking strong performances. He went 7-24 with a homerun, 3 doubles, 5 walks. He only struck out twice, which is very impressive for such a young hitter.

Joe Vetrano

Vetrano had another solid week and reached base in five of his six games played. Overall, he went 5-15 with 5 walks and a homerun. He did strikeout six times, which is a little high, but he still performed well.

Joendry Vargas

Vargas had another strong week, but the strikeout issue was still there. He went 9-30 with a homerun, 3 doubles, and 5 walks. He did strikeout nine times though, which is still a big problem in his game.

John Spikerman

After a great first week, Spikerman returned back to Earth this week. He went 2-11 with 3 walks. He only struck out three times, though so this was not a real problem.

Jonathon Long

Long continues to hit and is putting himself in a good position for a promotion. He went 4-16 with a homerun and 4 walks. He did strikeout seven times though, which is the only real negative for him this week.

Jonny Farmelo

Farmelo had his best week this week going 5-20 with 2 doubles and 5 walks. He did strikeout six times, but it did most came in a two-game stretch. His performance is trending in the right direction as he hopes to build off of this.

Jose Fernandez

Fernandez has been really good despite no homeruns since his debut. Currently, he is riding on a 5-game hitting streak which is impressive for a young, raw player in the bigs. This week, he went 6-20 with a double. He has not walked one time since being prompted, but he is also not striking out a ton either. 5 times last week, but he is still hitting so it has not really hurt him.

Joshua Kuroda-Grauer

Grauer had a great week at the plate while continuing to shine at multiple positions in the field. After seeing his strikeout rate rise to start the season, he started to regain form towards the end of the week. Overall, he went 8-24 with a homerun, triple, and 3 walks. After 3 strikeouts in his first two games of the week, he had none in his next three games.

Josue De Paula

De Paula continues to rake and had another really strong week. He went 5-16 with 4 walks. He also only struck out twice which is impressive. He just needs to keep stacking good games and a promotion should come soon.

Juan Baez

Baez had another strong week at the plate and continues to hit. He went 3-11 with 4 walks and only 3 strikeouts. While he has not hit for power yet, he has gotten on base a ton.

Juan Flores

Flores had a huge bounce back after an o for last week. He went 5-14 with a homerun and two doubles. He also drove in nine runs and scored three times. Strikeouts are still a real problem though, as he struck out six times.

Kash Mayfield

Mayfield dazzled in his last start and truly dominated. In 5 shutout innings, he allowed only 1 hit and did not walk anybody. He also struck out eight batters and was incredible. He showed why he is such a highly ranked prospect.

Kelvin Hidalgo

Hidalgo had hit consistently all year and had another really strong week. He went 8-19 with a homerun and a double. Strikeouts started to become a problem late in the week as he had six, but he has consistently put the bat on the ball for the most part.

Kavares Tears

Tears still shows flashes, but overall has struggled at the plate. This week, he went 1-12 with a homerun and 6 walks. The concern is that he did still strikeout six time, but this was improvement from the previous week.

Khadim Diaw

Diaw had a much better week at the plate after a rough go last week. He went 4-14 with 5 walks. He only struck out three time as well, really improving on his struggles from last week. Still adjusting to the level after battling injuries, he should continue to improve should he stay healthy.

Kevin McGonigle

Another strong week for the top rookie in baseball. He went 7-17 with only 4 strikeouts. He has reached base safely in every game that he has started this year and only did not in a game where he pinch hit and only had one at bat. A truly special first month for a great young player.

Kyle DeBarge

DeBarge is still really struggling at the plate. He went 2-19 with 4 walks. He struck out seven times and continued to struggle with making consistent contact. He has also struggled defensively which is a huge surprise and made 2 errors already at short.

Kyle Henley

Henley had a really solid week, but still continues to strikeout a ton. Overall, he went 7-22 with a double and 4 walks. He also stole six bases and continues to be a plus baserunner. The problem is that he also had 10 strikeouts and continues to struggle to make consistent contact.

Leo De Vries

De Vries has been hitting all year and this week was more of the same. Strikeouts are a real problem as of late though, as he has 25 overall and 10 this week. Hitting, he went 7-22. He also walked four times and stole six bases. Solid week, but there is a lot of room for improvement.

Lisbel Diaz

Diaz had a rough week overall, but did show some flashes. He went 4-20 with his first homerun of the year. He struck out three times as well which is not terrible. So much potential, but he is still very raw.

Luis Almeyda

Almeyda had a rough week after going 2-4 with 2 doubles in the first game of the week. He proceeded to go 0-10 with 4 strikeouts in the next three games. Rough stretch after starting to show some signs of life.

Luis Baez-Baez

He had another really tough week at the plate and seems to have completely lost his form from a few years ago. He went 2-16 with 4 strikeouts. He did not walk and struggled to get on base again.

Luke Adams

Adams got off to a really hot start but got injured last week. Currently, he is on the 7-day injured list but hopes to return soon.

Max Clark

Clark has continued to play great baseball offensively and in the field. He has continued to shine in center field while going 6-18 with a homerun. Only 4 strikeouts as well is impressive but there is always room for improvement in that department.

Marvin Alcantara

Alcantara seems to have found his footing after stumbling out of the gate. He went 6-21 with a homerun, double, 2 walks. He also only struck out twice which is a really good sign. He has been spraying the ball all over the field which is why his early struggles did not seem to be a real concern.

Nate Nankil

Nankil is still hurt and there has not been an update on his return yet.

Nathan Flewelling

Flewelling is on fire at the plate and continues to crush the ball. This week, he went 5-19 with 2 homeruns, 2 doubles, and 4 walks .He only struck out three times and really shined.

Nick McLain

McLain is still on the 60-day injured list and will miss a lot of time this year.

Nick Mitchell

Mitchell had a great week despite his numbers still not looking impressive. He reached base in all four games and went 2-10. He also walked four times and only struck out once. An impressive week to build off for the outfielder.

Nick Morabito

Morabito had another really strong week and continues to hit. He went 3-16 with a homerun, and 2 walks. He only struck out twice as well and looks to belong in triple A.

PJ Morlando

Overall, it was a rough week, but Morlando showed flashes. He went 3-18 with 4 walks and 7 strikeouts. He did hit his first homerun of the year which is a positive.

Ramon Ramirez

Ramirez had a week to forget at the plate and his strikeout numbers towards the end are very concerning. Overall, he went 3-22 with a double, . He struck out seven times in his last 15 at bats and ended the week in a really bad slump.

Rikuu Nishida

Nishida earned a promotion to triple A mid-week and will look to continue winning at bats at the highest level of the minors. He has struggled with somoe out of character swing and miss early on, but he also hit a homerun in his triple A debut. Overall, in triple A, he went 5-16 with 8 strikeouts. Based off his track record, this should change shortly.

Robert Calaz

Calaz had a solid week where he recorded a hit in four of five games. Strikeouts were a huge problem still as he had 11 this week. He went 4-21 with a double and a walk, but that has to be disappointing after his start.

Romero Sanabria

Sanabria had a solid week, but still struggled with strikeouts. Overall, he went 5-18 with a walk and a homerun. The negative for him was 7 strikeouts. The strikeout rate is still way too high and this is his biggest weakness. Especially because he is not a big power bat, so he needs to get on base to be productive.

Ryan Campos

Capos had a much better week at the plate, but there is still a lot of room for growth. He went 4-16 with a homerun, double and 4 walks. He struck out four time, which was an improvement from last week. This was a good week to build off of though,

Ryan Sloan

Sloan had his worst start of the year this week and struggled with his command. He pitched only 1.2 innings and allowed 3 hits, 3 runs, and 3 walks. Rough one for a good young pitcher. He has great stuff and had shown decent command in his first two starts, but just did not have it that night.

Sam Antonacci

Antonacci got the call early in the week to the majors and has played 5 games already. While he has struggled at the plate, he has played both second and left field so far defensively. He has gone 2-16 at the plate with 2 walks, and only 1 strikeout, which is a good sign. He is putting the ball in play, but still has to adjust to major league pitching.

Sean Keys

Keys has been one of the hottest bats in minor league ball so far and he had another great week. He went 9-18 with 3 home runs, 2 doubles, 9 RBIS. He only struck out 4 times as well which helped lower the strikeout rate. Still no errors in the field either which is the biggest positive. The bat was always a plus, but if he can be a consistent fielder, he will fly through the system.

Seaver King

King is on fire and had an incredible week at the plate. He went 8-21 with 2 homeruns, 3 doubles, 3 walks, and 9 RBIS. He struck out six times, but really showed off his power. He hit two homers in one game in an incredible performance.

Sebastian Walcott

Walcott is on the 60-day injured list and will miss most if not all of the 2026 season.

Sheng-En Lin

After a really good last start, Lin struggled this time out on the mound. Pitching only 3.1, he allowed 3 hits, 4 runs, and 3 walks. He also hit a batter and really struggled with his command. As he continues to learn pitching and focus on it, he should improve. As a former two-way player, full time pitching is new. He will have games like this as he continues to develop.

Slade Caldwell

Caldwell has been nothing short of terrible at the plate early on. He had 1 hit in 21 at bats this week. He did walk six times, while also striking out six times. It has been rough so far, but hopefully he figures it out soon.

Spencer Nivens

Nivens is still out with an injury and on the 7-day injury list. The hope is for him to start ramping it up soon to return to the field.

Tai Peete

Peete had a really solid week where he took real strides. He went 5-19 with a homerun, triple, and 2 doubles. He also walked twice. The concern is he is still striking out a little too much (5 this week), but he is still adjusting to a new league. On 4/16, he went 4/7 and hit for the cycle, showing how exciting of a player he can be on any day.

Thayron Liranzo

Liranzo returned from injury this week and has gotten off to a great start. Through two games, he ids 2-4 with a walk. Only 1 strikeout as well, so it has been a really promising return so far.

Theo Gillen

Gillen did not play this week but there was no injury announcement. He looks ready to play again this upcoming week though.

Travis Bazzana

Bazzana had a great week and put himself one step closer to a call up. He went 7-18 with his first homerun of the year, 4 doubles, and 2 walks. 3 strikeouts in two games is still a concern, but he has started to really hit anyway.

Travis Honeyman

Honeyman had a great week, but did show some swing and miss problems. He went 6-17 with three multi hit games in four played. He did not walk though while striking out five times.

Ty Southisene

Southisene is still one of the hottest bats in the minors. For the week, he went 5-15 with 2 doubles, 3 walks, and only 2 strikeouts. Another strong showing for one of the toughest batters to strikeout in low A.

Tyson Lewis

Lewis is still struggling at the plate, but showed some promise this week. He went 4-24 which is round, but he did have 2 doubles, and did not strikeout in half of his games played. The ugly was that he did strikeout eight times including six in his last two games.

Walker Jenkins

Jenkins had another tough week at the plate after looking like he had figured it out last week. He went 3-21 with 5 strikeouts. He did walk three times, which is a positive to take from a forgettable week though.

Yeremi Cabrera

Cabrera had another fantastic week at the plate despite striking out a little more than desired. He went 7-14 with a homerun, triple, 2 doubles, and 5 walks. He did strikeout five time as well, but this really did not hurt his numbers much. Cannot see him lasting in low A for long. He is way too good of a hitter.

Yoelin Cespedes

Cespedes had a really solid bounce back week. Going 6-17 with 2 homeruns, a double, and 7RBIS. He did not walk which is not great, but he hit the ball well.

Yoffry Solano

Solano still has not made his season debut, but was just assigned to low A. He has made it to full season ball, and should debut very soon.

Yohandy Morales

Morales had another great week at the plate. Going 8-17 with a homerun. He did not walk but only struck out four time. A really solid week to add to his early success.

Yolfran Castillo

Castillo limited his strikeouts this week and it really paid off. Only 2 strikeouts in four games is a huge step in the right direction. He went 5-16 with 3 doubles and 3 walks. A really good performance for him to build off of.

Zander Mueth

Mueth had his best start of the year but still struggled with his command. He pitched 4 innings, striking out 4 hitters while only allowing 2 hits and 1 run. What got him in trouble was 2 walks and a hit by pitch. If he can improve his control, he will dominate.

Zyhir Hope

Hope had two great games this week and three rough ones. Overall, he went 5-18 with a homerun, and a walk. He did strikeout four times, but overall it was a good week for Hope.

MLB

Agustin Ramirez

The strikeout issue returned this week and really hurt this week. He went 2-18 with 6 strikeouts. He did hit his second homerun of the season to end the week, so hopefully something to build off of.

Brice Matthews

Matthews struggles continued in a 1-6 week with 3 strikeouts. Hard to get into a rhythm as a bench bat with limited appearances, but he will have to figure it out soon.

Caleb Durbin

Durbin has struggled a lot, but continues to show flashes. For the week, he went 4-13 with 3 doubles and 2 walks. He also only struck out once. His issue has been that he has not hit lefties at all. He is 1-18 against them to start the season. While he has also not really hit righties (10-50), he has been an automatic out against lefties early on.

Cam Smith

After an incredible start to the season, Smith had a brutal week. His only hit came in his first game and he then went hitless in the next four games. Overall, he was 1-16 with 4 strikeouts. He did also walk 4 times which is a positive takeaway.

Carson Williams

Williams is making good contact when he connects, but the issue is that there is still way too much swing and miss. He struck out at least once in every game this week. Overall, he went 6-23 with 8 strikeouts and 1 double. Even in his 3-hit game, he struck out 3 times, so not much to really build on from this week.

Christian Moore

Moore is still not making a lot of quality contact, but his wrc+ is 118, but his exit velocities and hard hit % are down. The strikeout rate is down and walk rate is up though. It was another rough week in triple A for Moore, but he did show some flashes. He went 2-14 with 6 strikeouts. He did walk three times and hit a double and his first home run of the season.

Colson Montgomery

Montgomery is still striking out a ton which is really hurting his numbers. Solid week for him, but it started rough with an 0-4 with 4 strikeouts. He then went on a three-game hitting streak and also has drawn a walk in four straight which is a huge step in the right direction. Four of his seven walks this year came this week. For the week, he went 4-15 with 2 homeruns and a double. His approach seems to be improving, and it all relies on him cutting down on strikeouts.

Dalton Rushing

Rushing is forcing the Dodgers to find a spot in the lineup for him. He is still tearing the cover off the ball. For the week, he went 5-14 with 4 homeruns. He hit a homerun in four of his five games played including 2 in his last game, and a huge late inning grand slam off Devin Williams to start the week.

Jac Caglianone

Caglianone had a really solid week and hit his first home run of the season. Overall, he went 7-19 and is on a six-game hitting streak. 5 strikeouts is still not great, but he did improve on the quality of his contact and raised his OPS by .123 this week.

Jonah Tong

Tong had another bounce back performance and needs to find some consistency. He went 5.1 innings and struck out nine batters. He also scattered 5 hits and two walks to limit the damage to only 1 earned run allowed. A real strong showing, but he has been way too inconsistent this year.

Kristian Campbell

Campbell has shown consistency at the plate which was missing last year. He is currently riding a six-game hitting streak and had at least one hit in 14 of his 15 games played this month. For the week, he went 5-17 with 5 strikeouts and 5 walks. He has a very high babip and should his strikeout rate continue to drop, his numbers should be impressive.

Kyle Teel

Teel is very close to starting his rehab assignment. He is hitting, catching, and throwing, but running is still the issue. They are not rushing him, but he should be good to go soon. Hamstring injuries are tough and can linger.

Marcelo Mayer

Mayer had another rough week at the plate, but has shown some growth. Still not making a lot of great contact, but he is also not striking out. For the week, he went 2-12 with only 1 strikeout. Another rough week.

Matt Shaw

Matt Shaw has turned into a great right-handed platoon bat and has crushed lefties. Still a lot of room for growth against righties, but he crushed left-handed pitching this week. First game of the week he went 3-4 with 3 doubles, 2 RBIS, and 3 runs scored. For the week, he went 6-10 with only 1 strikeout.

Nick Kurtz

Kurtz seems to have finally broken out of his brutal start to the season. Still striking out a little too much but did have three games this week with none. He started the week with an 0-4 with 3 strikeouts but finished the week 6-20 with 2 homeruns, a double, and 9 walks. He did walk more than he struck out and had multiple extra base hits.

Roman Anthony

Anthony had a solid week, but is still trying to break out of the early struggles at the plate. Through 5 games, he did strikeout once in each game still. The positive was that he also did walk 6 times over that stretch. Overall, he went 4-16, which is still not great.

Samuel Basallo

The struggle at the plate continued this week. In four games, he was hitless in the first three before going 2-3 with 2 RBIS and 2 walks. Overall, he went 2-13 which was not good at all. He did only strike out twice, which is a positive.

Trey Yesavage

Yesavage is very close to a return. His last start in triple A was solid. He had 5 strikeouts in 4.1 innings and threw 7- pitches. The hope is for one more rehab start in triple A and then a callup to make his season debut with the Blue Jays. He will be evaluated after his next start, and it could be the end of his rehab stint.
