Hope you enjoy reading and share your thoughts in the comments!

Aaron Parker – Parker debuted this year on double A and has shown a very good eye and approach at the plate in his first game. He had 6 plate appearances on opening day due to it going 13 innings and went 1-3 with 3 walks. After a marathon game, he sat the second game and did not appear. Solid start for the 23-year-old catcher.

Adrian Santana – Santana returned to high A for 2026 and has gotten off a solid start in the first three games. He is 3-11 with a walk so far. He has only struck out twice and has done a good job putting the ball in play. He has not used the opposite field at all really so far this season as he did so well in his first three seasons, but this will likely return his average rate as the season progresses. He has looked good at short and will continue to develop at the position.

Aidan Miller – Miller is still out with some back issues and has not debuted yet in 2026. He will look to make it back to the triple A lineup soon, but there is no real time table yet.

Aidan Smith – Smith’s 2026 season debut has been delayed due to some hamstring issues. He is not on the injury list, but has not yet seen any game action. He should find the field soon and hope it is just a quick pitstop back to high A before moving up to double A.

Alex Clemmey – Clemmey returned to double A and struggled with control in his season debut. Pitching 3 innings, he only allowed 1 hit and 1 run, but he did walk 5 batters. This is a huge concern. 5 walks in 3 innings is not going to cut it. He kept the ball on the ground for the most part which is promising, but the walks really hurt. He showed he can strike batters out when he throws strikes, so hopefully this was just a rough outing shaking off the rust.

Alexander Alburtus – Albertus is still recovering from a tibia injury he suffered in 2024. He did briefly return in 2025 for 8 games, he reinjured his leg and missed the rest of the season. The hope is for him to return to complex ball by the end of April to begin his comeback from a serious injury.

Arjun Nimmala – Nimmala has returned to high A for 2026 and hopes this is a quick stop. So far through two games, he is 3-8 with a double, 4 runs batted in, and 1 home run. He has only struck out once as well and has been impressive in a very small sample size. Should he keep this up, his time in high A should end soon.

Bairon Ledesoma – Ledesma looks to be returning to the complex league in 2026 and it will be his third year at the level. The hope is to make it to full season ball at some point this year.

Ben Hess – Hess returned to double A this year and had a solid first start. He showed flashes of dominance by striking out 9. He did allow a home run and three walks which resulted in 2 earned runs allowed. Hess has the potential to be a big-time strikeout pitcher but will need to continue working on his command.

Bernard Moon – Moon has returned to low A to start 2026 and has been solid so far through 3 games. He is 2-9 with a home run and 3 walks. The concern is that he also has struck out 3 times.

Billy Amick – Amick made his season debut in double A in 2026 and has shown promise. He is 2-8 with a home run, 3 runs scored, and 3 walks in three games played. His home run was an inside the park home run where he showed off his speed and ability to fly around the bases. Amick will look to build off a solid start and unlock his raw power.

Blake Burke – Burke has looked great in the first 3 games of 2026. After returning to double A, he has his gone 3-13 with 3 home runs, and 2 walks. He has 4 strikeouts which is a little concerning, but the power has been on full display.

Blake Wright – Wright opened the 2026 season on the low A 7 day injured list and hopes to return soon. Once he returns, his stay in low A should now be too long.

Braden Montgomery – Montgomery returned to double A after ending the 2025 season there. He has shown flashes but the strike out numbers are a big concern. While he is 2-9 with a home run and 5 walks, he also has 5 strike outs. He has big time power, but has shown way to much swing and miss early on.

Brody Hopkins – Hopkins was moved up to triple A this year and has shown some flashes in his first two starts. Striking out 10 batters and only allowing 1 run and 5 hits in 9 innings. The ugly part so far has been the 7 walks allowed. While they have not hurt him early, they could start to hurt if they continue to pile up. He does a great job of keeping the ball on the ground, so throwing strikes will only help him cruise through opposing orders.

Brooks Brannon – Brannon is currently recovering from hamate surgery in the spring. The hope is for him to move up to double A once he is healthy.

Bryce Cunningham – Cunningham is returning to high A for the beginning of the 2026 season, but has not yet taken the field. Arm soreness shut him down and he is currently on the 7 day injured list. While he is listed as not injured, the team is being cautious with him and may have him appear in extended spring training before he returns to full season ball.

Bryce Eldridge – Eldridge had an up and down first three games of the season posting solid stats but striking out at a high rate. He is still struggling this week and has 8 strikeouts in 6 games. He is 6-22 with 8 strikeouts and 0 home runs. To get back to the big leagues, he will need to continue to work on putting the ball in play.

Bryce Rainer – Rainer returned to low A for the start of the season and has shown flashes at the plate but is striking out at a high rate. The sample size is only two games (6 at bats), but he is 1-6 with 4 strikeouts. The 4 walks drawn is impressive, but the swing and miss issue has been on display. After a long layoff due to shoulder surgery, he is still working his way back to the player he projects to be. The positive sign health wise is that he is already back out at short playing his natural position. He hits the ball very hard and his first hit was a 110-mph single pulled into right field.

Braylon Payne – Payne moved up to high A and has impressed in his first two games. In his first game, he went 0-2 with two walks and showed a great approach at the plate. In his second game, he went 1-2 with a home run. He hit a towering shot to right center off a hanging off speed pitch and put a great swing on it. In his third game, he also impressed, going 2-5 with an RBI and a run scored. He did strike out twice, which is a little concerning, but he overall had a good game.

Boston Bateman – Bateman returned to high A and looked good in his first start. He pitched 4 innings and struck out 5 batters. He had 8 whiffs and his stuff looked good. He did allow 3 hits, 2 walks, and 2 runs, so he was not perfect. Lot of room for growth, but a solid showing for the lefty.

Cam Caminiti – Starting the year in high A, the Braves promising left-handed pitcher showed flashes but overall struggled in his debut. In 4.2 innings, he did strike out 6 batters, but he also walked 2 and allowed 3 hits and 3 runs. One of those hits was a home run as well which hurt his line.

Carson Benge – Benge is still struggling at the plate and is not hitting fastballs. The promising signs are that he is taking good at bats and is stealing a lot of bases. He is 2-20 with 6 strikeouts over the last week.

Carson Rucker – Rucker returned to low A for the beginning of the 2026 season and has been impressive through his first two games. He is 4-9 with 3 doubles 5 runs batted in and 3 walks. He has also struck out 3 times, which is a slight concern, but otherwise he has looked good.

Carson DeMartini – DeMartini returned to double A this year and has had two forgettable games so far. There are positives though, as he does have 2 walks and only 1 strikeout. Overall, he is 1-6 and the ball just has continued to find fielders. This should change soon and he should find more success.

Carter Johnson – Johnson returned to low A for his third season and continues to struggle at the plate. He does have 4 walks in three games, but also is 1-10 with 4 strikeouts. His hit was a homerun which is a positive sign for him having possible tapped into his raw power, but there is still a long season ahead for him to turn it around.

Carter Mathison – Mathison moved up to high A this year and had a forgettable season debut. He went 0-3 with a strikeout. He started in right field and looks to be primed to play a bulk of his innings out there.

Casey Cook – Cook started the year on the high A injured list. There is no information on when he will be back on the field, but he will eventually make his way back to the lineup.

Charlee Soto – Soto started the season on the injured list as he continues to bounce back from last season’s injuries. The goal is for him to return to high A in May.

Chase Harlan – Harlan returned to low A this year and has hit the ball well in his first three games. He is 4/9 with a triple, 2 runs batted in, and 3 walks. He does have 3 strikeouts, which is a little concerning, but it is very early and he is still only 19 years old in his second season of professional baseball.

Chris Cortez – Cortez returned to high A and continued to not throw strikes in his first start. While he only allowed 2 hits and 2 runs in 4 innings, he walked 4 and threw 2 wild pitches. He did a decent job of keeping the ball on the ground, but did also allow a home run.

Cobb Hightower – Hightower returned to low A for his second season and has gotten off to a hot start at the plate. Through two games, he is 4-8 with a double. If he can continue to hit, a call up should come eventually.

Cole Fontenelle – Fontenelle will open the season on the 7-day injury list for the double A Trash Pandas. He should return to play soon though and hope to find success that he has not yet found as a pro.

Cole Carrigg – Carrigg got off to a very hot start in his first three games. Since then, he is 4-20 with a double and 3 more stolen bases. He is not really striking out much which is a great sign. Should he continue to not strikeout, he should post impressive numbers.

Cole Mathis – Mathis returned to low A for 2026 and has had mixed results through the first three games. While he is 3-11 with 2 home runs and 4 walks, he has struck out 5 times. The power is impressive, but there has been a lot of swing and miss early on.

Cole Messina – Messina starts 2026 in double A and had shown flashes of his power but also a lot of swing and miss. He is 3-9 with 3 doubles, but has 0 walks and 4 strikeouts.

Colt Emerson – Emerson has looked solid in triple A so far through 7 games. His strike out rate and lack of walks is a bit concerning, but this should improve as he continues to develop. Overall he is 7-26 with a home run and 2 doubles. 0 walks and 10 strikeouts is the only issue currently.

Cooper Pratt – Pratt started the year in triple A and has struggled at the plate so far. Defensively, he is very good at short and the bat will continue to improve. He is not striking out much which is a positive. Overall, he is 5-20 with only 3 strikeouts.

Colin Houck – Houck is back in high A for the beginning of the 2026 season. While he has not had much success in his first two games (1-7), he has only struck out twice while also walking once. He will need to continue putting the ball in play and limiting the strikeouts.

Dillon Head – Head returned to high A in 2026 and has had a rough first two games. He is 0-8 with a walk. He has only struck out once which is a promising sign though. With his speed, the more he puts the ball in play, the more likely he will find his way on base.

Dylan Dreiling – Dreiling has been on fire for the double A Frisco Roughriders. In three games, he is 4/13 with a home run. Strikeout rate is a little high, but it is a very small sample size. This should correct himself as he adjusts to the next level of pitching.

Echedry Vargas – Vargas was sent back to low A to start the season and has started 1-6 through two games. While he has not hit much yet, he has drawn 2 walks and scored 3 runs. Only 1 strikeout so far as well. The hits should start coming, and they could add up quick.

Eddie Rynders – Rynders has returned to low A for 2026. It has been a brutal first two games for him going 0-5. He has drawn 2 walks, but all 5 outs were strikeouts. This is a big concern as he has not put a ball in play yet.

Eduardo Quintero – Quintero has returned to high A and has had a rough first three games. He is 3-13 with 4 strikeouts so far. Not the worst start, but he will look to cut down the strikeout rate.

Eduardo Tait – Tait returned to high A this year and has struggled early. Through 3 games, he is 1-10 with 5 strikeouts. Rough start so far, but this should change soon.

Ethan Anderson – Anderson is back in double A for 2026. Through 2 games, he is 0-5 with 2 strikeouts. The positive sign so far is that his eye at the plate is still elite. He has already drawn 4 walks so far. Once the bat wakes up, his numbers will look really good.

Engelth Urena – Urena is back in low A to start 2026 and has struggled at the plate so far. He is 0-10 with 4 strikeouts so far. He has drawn 4 walks which is a good sign though. Look for him to continue improving his bat to ball skills and the power should show.

Fenwick Trimble – Trimble returned to double A for 2026 and has struggled in the first two games. He is 2-8 with 3 strikeouts so far. He has also stolen a base. Trimble will look to work on cutting the strikeouts down as he has shown a lot of swing and miss so far.

Franklin Arias – Arias returned to double A for the 2026 season and had an interesting season debut. There was a lot of good (2 hits and a run batted in), but there was also a lot of bad (2 strikeouts). He has not shown a ton of swing and miss in his career so far, so this should not happen to often.

George Wolkow – Wolkow was moved up to high A for the start of the 2026 season. So far, he is 3-10 through three games with a home run. He has not walked yet which is a concern, but he also is not striking out much yet (2 strikeouts). The more contact he makes, the more likely the power numbers will stand out.

Hyun-Seok Jang– Jang looks to return to low A this year, but currently is not on the active roster. He should hopefully show up soon.

Ivan Luciano – Luciano returned to low A where he finished last season. In his first game, he went 0-4 with a strike out. Rough opening game, but he will figure it out.

Jack Penney – Penney is currently still recovering from hamate surgery and will likely see time in extended spring training before being assigned. Likely back to high A upon return, but double A is also a possibility.

Jackson Ferris – Ferris debuted in triple A for the Dodgers and had a rough ending to his outing. He ended up pitching 3.1 innings and looked good before giving up a two-run homer. His final line was 3.1 innings, 3 hits allowed, 2 runs and a walk. He did strike out two batters before losing it in the fourth inning.

Jacob Cozart – Cozart returned to double A to start the season and is off to a hot start. Through three games, he is 5-13 with a home run, double and 4 strikeouts. His home run was a towering shot pulled over the right field wall. He also had an RBI single hit the other way later in the game with the bases loaded. Cozart has also thrown out a runner attempting to steal and picked off another defensively. He has shined early on all over the field and been a huge impact player.

Jaison Chourio – Chourio returned to high A this season and has looked good through three games. He is 3-11 with 3 doubles. He does have 3 strikeouts, but also 3 walks so his strikeout rate is not a huge concern currently.

Jared Serna – Serna had a brutal first three games in triple A and has continued to struggle since. In the last 4 games, he is 0-12 with 2 more strikeouts. Serna may end up in double A if the struggles persist.

Jared Sundstrom – Sundstrom returned to double A to start the season and has gotten off to a strong start. Through three games, he is 3-10 with a home run, 2 stolen bases, and 2 walks. He did get caught stealing once and has 2 strikeouts, but that is not a big concern.

Jared Thomas – Thomas will report to double A once he recovers from hamate surgery in the offseason. He is currently on the 7-day injury list and should be evaluated soon.

Jay Beshears – Beshears returned to double A for the start of th season and has had a solid start. Through two games, he is 2-6 with a double. He has not struck out yet either which is a good sign.

JD Dix – Dix is off to a slow start after returning to low A. Through three games, he is 2-13 with 5 strikeouts. One of his hits is a triple, so he did get to show off his speed a bit. Dix should bounce back as he has shown he can be much better than this.

Jeral Perez – Perez has been red hot to start the double A season. After earning a promotion, he is 4-11 with a double in three games. He has struck out twice, but this is not a huge concern currently. If he continues to rip the cover off the ball, he could see another promotion by midseason.

Jeremy Rodriguez – Rodriguez will start the season on the 7-day IL for the low A Mets. He should return soon though and hope to find his success from 2023 and 2024 again.

Jesus Made – Made has made a name for himself and his start so far in double A is very impressive. As the youngest player in double A he is 5-13 with a home run. He has struck out 4 times, but this is truly not a huge concern. He is still so young and will only continue to get better.

Joe Vetrano – Vetrano was promoted to double A to start 2026 and has started the season 2-9 with a home run. Only one strikeout so far as well which is promising. Look for Ventrano to tap into his raw power as he has the size to be a big-time power bat.

Joendry Vargas – Vargas returned to low A and has shown some flashes in his first three games. He is 3-12 with a home run, double, and stolen base. The concern is that he has struck out 5 times. The hope is that he improves on this so he can tap into his raw power.

John Spikerman – Spikerman opened the season on the 7-day injury list but hopes to return to high A soon.

Jonathon Long – Long got off to a little bit of a slow start but has turned it up over the last week. He is 8-25 with a home run and a triple. He has also walked 6 times while only striking out 7 times. He has shown that he is a very solid hitter and should continue to rake.

Jonny Farmelo – Farmelo has had an interesting start to his return to high A. While he has shown a good eye and walked 5 times, he is overall 2-14 with 6 strikeouts. One of his hits was a home run, so he has shown a little power, but there has been a lot of swing and miss early.

Jose Fernandez – Fernandez may have had the greatest debut of all time last week, but since then, he has really struggled. Over four games, he is 1-12 with 3 strikeouts. He looks to have a bright future but may end up being sent back down to develop a little more as he was originally called up due to some injuries.

Joshua Kuroda-Grauer – Grauer picked up right where he left off in double A. Not striking out and consistently putting the ball in play. So far through three games, he is 4-14 with only one strike out. He has played both third and second base and looks to have been moved off of short.

Josue De Paula – 2026 found De Paula picking up where he left off in 2025. In double A, he has looked good through the first three games. Going 3-11 with 4 walks. Only 1 strikeout as well which is great.

Juan Baez – Baez returned to high A this year and had a rough season debut. He went 0-3 with a strikeout in a forgettable night. He bounced back in his second game of the season with 3 walks despite going 0-2. His third game was very solid. He went 2-5 with an RBI. He did strike out twice, but came in clutch with 2 outs and drove in a run.

Juan Flores – Flores returned to high A and has been impressive so far. Through three games, he is 2-9 with a home run. Two of those outs were reaching on errors, so he still found a way on base. Positive start for the young catcher who should continue to get pitches to hit on a team that looks impressive.

Kash Mayfield – Kash made his season debut in high A and looked good in a short start. He pitched three hitless innings and struck out 4 batters. Two walks are not great, but they did not hurt him as no runs were scored.

Kelvin Hidalgo – Hidalgo was promoted to high A to start the season and has struggled in his first three games. He is 0-13 with 4 strikeouts. An absolutely brutal start but it is very early.

Kavares Tears – Tears was moved up to high A this season and his first two games were forgettable. So far, he is 0-4 with a walk. Only one strikeout, so he has been putting the ball in play at least. Very early and he will improve.

Khadim Diaw – Diaw returned to high A and has gotten off to a very solid start. He is 3-12 with a double, stolen base and 2 walks. Only 2 strikeouts as well, so a promising start for the young catcher.

Kevin McGonigle – McGonigle picked up right where he left off last week. Over his last five games, he is 5-20 with 2 doubles, a triple and 3 walks. Only 3 strikeouts as well, so he has done a good job putting the ball in play. He has also played both short and third showing his ability to contribute defensively at multiple positions.

Kyle Debarge – Debarge made his season debut for double A this year and the bat showed up. So far, he is 4-11 with a home run and a double. He also has 3 walks. 3 early strikeouts is a little concerning, but he is also in his first week in double A.

Kyle Henley – Henley returned to low A for the 2026 season and is struggling early. Overall, through three games he is 2-11 with 5 strikeouts. The strikeout concerns caused him to not be promoted to high A. Hopefully he can make progress on this.

Leo De Vries – De Vries returned to double A and has struggled a bit early. In his first three games, he is 2-10. He has drawn 3 walks which is impressive, but has not found much success just yet. He will turn it around as he is too good to struggle for long.

Lisbel Diaz – Diaz will start in high A this year and he has showed promise in his first three games. He is 3-12 with a double so far. Only 2 strikeouts as well, so he has not looked outmatched. He will continue to improve as he adjusts to more advanced pitching.

Luis Almeyda – Almeyda returned to low A for 2026 hoping his bat finally showed up. So far through 3 games, he has shown some flashes. His first two games were a little rough going 2-9 with 2 strikeouts. His third game was a big improvement. While he did strikeout once, he had 2 hits and his bat showed life. Overall, he is 4-14.

Luis Baez – Baez really needs to have a huge bounce back season returning to double A. Through three games, he is off to a dreadful start. 0-10 with 2 strikeouts. Strikeouts are not killing him currently, but he has not had anything to show as of yet.

Luke Adams – Adams had a rough first three games in triple A, but adjusted well this week. He is 3-10 with two home runs. Only 1 strikeout as well, so this is a very big step. Looks for him to continue to make hard contact and the power numbers to really show.

Max Clark – Clark has been on an absolute tear in triple A. After a 3-13 start, he is 8-17 with 5 doubles. He continues to not strike out and is seeing the ball so well. He may force the Tigers hand soon if this continues.

Marvin Alcantara – Alcantara has returned to double A and his first three games have been forgettable. He is 1-6 with 2 strikeouts. His approach has not been terrible though as he has drawn 3 walks.

Nate Nankil – Nankil was sent back down to high A to start the season and has had a rough first three games. He is 2-11 with 5 strikeouts. He does have two walks, a stolen base, and 2 runs batted in, so that is a positive so far.

Nathan Flewelling – Flewelling has looked good through the first three games. Overall, he is 3-9 with a home run. The concern is that he also has struck out 5 times in 9 at bats. Some positves and some negatives in his first real taste of high a ball.

Nick McLain – McLain is currently on the injured list and seems like he will miss a good bit of time. Injuries have plagued him so far in his baseball career, and this year will hopefully not be fully lost due to it.

Nick Mitchell – Mitchell earned a promotion to double A this year and has taken off running. In three games, he is 4-11 with a home run, double, and 4 runs batted in. He has only sturck out once as well and has looked great at the plate so far.

Nick Morabito – Morabito had a solid first three games in triple A and was even better in his second week. In 4 games, he went 6-17 with two doubles, home run, and 2 stolen bases. He has also only struck out 3 times and showed a lot of promise.

PJ Morlando – Morlando returned to low A where he hopes to stay on the field. Through the first three games, he has had some moments. Overall, he is 2-11 with 3 walks and only 2 strikeouts. He puts the ball in play and hits will come if he can keep it up. His approach at the plate has looked good and the results will come.

Ramon Ramirez – Ramirez will play for the high A team this year but it has been a rough start for the team overall. Their entire opening series was rained out and they have only played one game so far. He has not yet appeared, but should see the field soon.

Rikuu Nishida – Nishida returned to double A and picked up right where he left off. Through three games, he is 3-10 with a double and 3 walks. He has also stolen 2 bases. If he continues to hit like this, he should not be in double A for long.

Robert Calaz – Calaz earned a promotion to high A this year and has come out hot in the first three games. He is 5-12 with a home run and a triple. Some concern with the 3 strikeouts, but he has overall hit the ball well.

Romeo Sanabria – Sanabria has struggled in the first three games back in double A. He is 2-11 with 2 strikeouts. He does also have 3 walks, so that is promising. He had been a good contact hitter for his entire minor league career, so he should pick it up soon.

Ryan Campos – Campos was moved up to double A for the 2026 season and has shown some flashes at the plate. His 5 strikeouts in 13 at bats is a little concerning, but it is not a big sample size at all. He also has 4 hits and 2 doubles, so there have been plenty of positives.

Ryan Sloan – Sloan got roughed up in his double A debut. Allowing 5 hits and 3 runs in four innings. There were positives though as he struck out 4 and only walked 1 batter. He is still only 20 years old so he is still very raw as a prospect.

Sam Antonacci – Antonacci has positioned himself to be the next WhiteSox call up. After a very strong first week, he picked right back up where he left off last week. He is 4-11 with a double, 2 walks, a stolen base, and only 2 strike outs. They have also moved him into a corner outfield position as this is his quickest path up and he has more than held his own out there.

Sean Keys – Keys was moved up to double A for the start of 2026 and has looked good at the plate. He is 2-6 with a home run and 3 walks. Keys bat is very good, but the concern is the glove. The hope is that he sticks at third, but that is still to be determined.

Seaver King – King is in double A for the start of the season and while he has not hit yet, he has still impressed. He is 1-7 with 7 walks through three games. 3 strikeouts in 7 at bats is not pretty, but it is not a huge concern yet.

Sebastian Walcott – Walcott is out due to surgery and will miss most of if not all of the 2026 season.

Sheng-En Lin – Lin made his season debut back in low as and struggled on the mound. As a full time pitcher for the first time in his career, it did not go well. He only allowed 1 hit while striking out 4 batters. With that being said, he walked 4 batters and gave up 2 earned runs. He did not throw enough strikes and it caused an early exit. There were definitely positives to take from the start, but also struggles that he will have to improve on.

Slade Caldwell – Caldwell returned to high A to start the season and looks good so far. In three games, he is 4-12 with a double and 2 walks. 5 strikeouts are a little concerning, but it is still very early.

Spencer Nivens – Nivens should debut in double A soon. Currently he is on the 7-day injured list and has not played in a game yet.

Tai Peete – Peete returned to high A this year and has not hit much in his first four games. He is 1-15 with 5 strikeouts. He has walked 4 times though and hit a home run. He will turn it around soon as he has shown his ability with the bat throughout his minor league career.

Thayron Liranzo – An oblique injury has kept Liranzo out of game action for the double A club so far. He is ramping up and should return in the near future.

Theo Gillen – Gillen was promoted to high A to start the season and has shown a little bit of pop. He is 2-10 in three games with 2 doubles. He has struck out three times though which is concerning. Gillen will likely improve in this department as he continues to adjust to more advanced pitching.

Travis Bazzana – After a mediocre first week, Bazzana has not really picked it up since. He is 4-17 with a triple, double, and a walk. He has struck out 3 times though which is concerning. Bazzana hoped to make the opening day roster for the Guardians and fell short. Since then, he has not really done anything yet to earn a call up.

Travis Honeyman – Honeyman has gotten off to a very solid start in double A in 2026. In his first two games, he is 2-7 with 2 walks. He does have two strikeouts, but this should improve as he continues to adjust to higher level pitching. He has used the full field so far and hit 60% of his balls in play the other way.

Ty Southisene – Southisene returned to low A and has had a very productive first four games. He is 5 for 16 with 3 stolen bases. 3 early strikeouts is not really concerning because he has also drawn 4 walks. He should continue to rake.

Tyson Lewis – Lewis returned to high A for 2026 and had mixed results in the first week. He went 4-17 with a home run and a double. The downside is that he struck out 9 times. A 52% strikeout rate will not play.

Walker Jenkins – Jenkins returned to triple A for the start of the 2026 season and has struggled out of the gate. He is currently 4-23 with a double and 4 walks. The strike out rate is average so this is not a problem. Early on, he is just making a ton of weak ground ball contact. Rolling over half of the balls he puts in play. He should adjust and he has consistently sprayed the ball around the field in his career.

Yeremi Cabrera – Cabrera returned to low A for the season and his first three games have been forgettable. He is 1-10 with 4 strikeouts so far. The promising sign is that he has also walked 3 times. He has not hit a single ball the other way so far, which is surprising because he has always used the full field. 83% of his balls in play have been ground balls with 50% being pulled and the rest up the middle. Look for him to return to form by taking outside pitches the other way.

Yoelin Cespedes – Cespedes was promoted to high A to start the season and has looked incredible through the first 4 games. He is 8-19 with 5 doubles. He has struck out 6 times which is a little bit of a red flag, but this should improve as he adjusts to the new level.

Yoffry Solano – Solano looks to be headed back to complex ball this year for his third go around. Hopefully he makes it to low A at some point, but there is no real news on him.

Yohandy Morales – Morales had a rough first week in triple A and continued to struggle this week. In 6 games, he went 4-18 with 7 strikeouts. He did walk 4 times and hit his first home run of the season though.

Yolfran Castilo – Castillo returned to low A and has struggled early. Through 4 games, he is 3-15 with 5 strikeouts. In 28 games at the level last year, he only struck out 17 times, so he has regressed a bit early.

Zander Mueth – Mueth returned to low A and had a rough first start. He only pitched 2.2 innings and gave up 4 hits including a home run. There were positives though as he did record 3 strikeouts and only 1 walk. He for the most part did a good job keeping the ball on the ground, but did get hit around a bit. The control was better though and was the biggest concern for him last year.

Zyhir Hope – Hope is back in double A and has shown some flashes early. In four games, he is 4-16 with 2 doubles and a stolen base. The concern is that he has 5 strikeouts already. The goal for this season was lowering the strikeout rate and it has not been a great start in that department.

MLB

Agustin Ramirez – It was a rough first week for Ramirez, but he turned it around this week. He is 6-23 with 2 doubles and a triple. He also stole a base which is not his game. The strikeout problem he faced last year has returned a bit, but his walk rate is up a lot. Still waiting for his power to show back up, but he is the type of hitter that can pile home runs up in a short time.

Brice Matthews – Matthews followed up a tough first week with a brutal second week. 0-6 with 2 strikeouts. He did walk twice but that did not help him or the Astros. A return to triple A is likely upcoming soon. If not, performance based, simply to just get him consistent at bats.

Caleb Durbin – Durbin had a brutal first week but has started to turn it around. After a hitless week, he went 4-19 with a double. He drew 2 walks and only had 3 strikeouts. Still a bit of a struggle, but he improved a bit.

Cam Smith – After a rough first week, Smith has been on fire. Going 10-24 with 3 home runs and 2 doubles. Still striking out a good bit, but he is also walking at a good rate. His home run in Colorado was a towering shot to center over the trees. A great sign of what he can do with the bat.

Carson Williams – Williams had a rough first week and only lasted three more games before he was sent back to triple A. He went 0-7 with 4 strikeouts. He will need to continue working on the bat before he gets another shot.

Christian Moore – After a brutal first week, Moore has started to build some momentum. He was 4-17 with 3 doubles. His eye has been very good. Walking 13 times overall while only striking out 9 times. The Angels are still waiting on the power to show up.

Colson Montgomery- The strikeout rate is still a huge problem for Montgomery, but his power is real. After an alright first week, he posted another mediocre week. 4-16 with a home run and a double. The problem is he struck out 6 times.

Dalton Rushing – Rushing is putting the Dodgers in a tough position. He has nowhere to play consistently, but he is one of the hottest bats in baseball. He started two games this week and went 5-7 with 3 home runs. He only had 1 strikeout as well and is really seeing the ball well right now.

Jac Caglianone – Caglianone had a rough first week but looks to have turned a corner. While there has not been much power shown yet, he went 7-26 with 2 doubles. He still struck out 8 times which is a true concern.

Jonah Tong – Tong made two starts this week and had the opposite results in each. His first start was an absolute disaster. He pitched 1.2 innings and allowed 7 runs on 4 hits and 3 walks. He bounced back in his second start through pitching 5 innings allowing only 2 runs on 2 hits and 2 walks while recording 7 strikeouts. Progress to end the week at least.

Kristian Campbell – After a rough week, Campbell has started to put some things together. 8-26 with 2 doubles and a home run in 6 games. The problem is the strikeout rate is still way too high. He struck out 8 times.

Kyle Teel- Teel is still on the IL, but should return to action soon.

Nick Kurtz – After a 1-13 start, Kurtz has started to show some flashes, but still struggled. He went 4-19 with 8 strikeouts. He did walk 5 times which is solid, but he is having trouble putting the bat on the ball. Moving out of the leadoff spot could spark him to return to form.

Marcelo Mayer – Mayer is really struggling at the plate so far. After a rough week, he had an even worse week this time. He went 2-18 with 7 strikeouts. He did hit a double and a home run.

Matt Shaw – Shaw looks to be finally putting it all together at the plate. He was 6-24 with 2 home runs and a double. The strikeout rate went up, but he also is making a lot harder contact which is a good sign.

Roman Anthony – Roman has struggled early, but has shown flashes. Over the week, he went 6-30 with a home run and a double. The biggest concern is that he struck out 10 times. He should start hitting soon though as he has too much talent to not figure it out.

Samuel Basallo – Basallo is struggling early in the year and has not been good at all. While he does have a home run and 4 walks in 8 games, he has struck out 13 times and only had 5 hits in 30 at bats.

Trey Yesavage – Yesavage is currently still on the IL and hopes to find his way back to rehab soon.
