Aaron Parker

Parker had another solid week, but there were some strikeout issues. He went 3-11 with 2 homeruns and 5 strikeouts. A lot of swing and miss, but he also homered in two of four games played and recorded a hit in three straight.

Adrian Santana

Santana is currently on the injured list. No updates on his progress.

Aidan Miller

Miller is still out for a significant amount of time. Hopefully this procedure fixes his back injury.

Aidan Smith

Smith had a strong week and recorded a hit in all five games. He went 5-21 with a homerun, triple, double, 3 walks, and 7 strikeouts. A little too much swing and miss, but overall, a solid showing.

Alex Clemmey

Clemmey got hit hard again in his last start. He pitched 5.1 innings and allowed 4 runs (3 earned) on 8 hits and a walk. He struck out four batters. Unfortunately, he just got hit and his defense did not do him any favors.

Alexander Albertus

Albertus struggles continued this week, but he has flashed and most importantly, stayed healthy. He went 4-14 with a triple, 4 walks, and 5 strikeouts. He should figure it out soon as his season started late due to injury rehab.

Arjun Nimmala

Nimmala is still on the injured list. No recent updates on his progress.

Ben Hess

Hess continues to stretch out as he works back from injury. He pitched 3.1 innings and struck out three while allowing 2 runs on 3 hits. He did not walk anybody which is a great sign.

Bernard Moon

Moon only played in one game this week, so not much to report here. He went 0-4 with 2 strikeouts. Tough game, but he should bounce back.

Billy Amick

Amick had a much-needed bounce back week. He went 6-26 with 2 homeruns, 4 doubles, 2 walks, and 6 strikeouts. Still a lot of swing and miss, but he was an extra base machine this week.

Blake Burke

Burke had a huge week offensively and recorded a hit in 5 of seven games played. He went 8-26 with a homerun, 3 doubles, 3 walks, and 9 strikeouts. The strikeouts are a concern, but even with them, he got on base a lot.

Blake Wright

Wright is still on the injured list. No updates on his progress, but hopefully he can make his season debut soon.

Boston Bateman

Bateman made two starts this week, and they could not have gone any more differently. In his first, he pitched 5 shutout innings and walked one while striking out seven batters and only allowing 2 hits. In his second start, he went 2.2 innings and allowed 5 runs on 5 hits and 3 walks. He did not strikeout anybody and was unable to escape trouble.

Braylon Payne

Payne had a solid week and hit in three of four games played. He went 4-16 with 2 homeruns, a double, walk, and 10 strikeouts. The strikeouts are a real concern, but he did show off his power.

Brody Hopkins

Hopkins started his last game after spending some time in the bullpen and had a brutal game. He pitched 2 innings and allowed 6 runs on 3 hits, a hit batter, and 6 walks. 4 strikeouts in 2 innings is solid, but it did not help him escape trouble. His command has been brutal this year and he may have to stay in the bullpen as he has consistently just not thrown strikes.

Brooks Brannon

Brannon had a very solid week, but strikeouts were still a bit of a problem. He went 6-18 with 2 doubles, a walk, and 5 strikeouts. Brannon has been very good despite having his season debut delayed due to injury.

Bryce Cunningham

Cunningham was incredible in his last start and put up his best and longest appearance of the season. In 6 shutout innings, he allowed 3 hits and 0 walks, while striking out four batters. A truly impressive start that he will look to build off of.

Bryce Rainer

Rainer had another average week for himself where he flashed, but still struggled with strikeouts. He went 5-17 with 2 homeruns, 2 doubles, 2 walks, and 6 strikeouts. He has a ton of potential, but his swing and miss problem has been holding him back.

Cam Caminitti

Caminitti returned to the mound this week and looked good. While he only pitched 4 innings, he did not allow a run. 2 hits, a hit batter, and a walk is not bad especially when paired with 6 strikeouts.

Carson DeMartini

DeMartini is still on the injured list. No updates on his progress as of now.

Carter Johnson

Johnson continued his red-hot June and extended his hitting streak to seven games. This week, he went 7-21 with 2 triples, a double, 4 walks, and 4 strikeouts. Johnson has impressed as of late after a rough start to the season.

Carter Mathison

Mathison’s struggles have cut his playing time down. This week, he went 2-12 with a walk and 7 strikeouts. Way too much swing and miss and it is really limiting his ability to contribute.

Casey Cook

Cook is still on the injured list. No updates, but hopefully he can begin his rehab soon.

Charlee Soto

Soto is still working through his rehab assignment in low A. He pitched 1.2 in his last start and allowed 2 runs on 2 hits. His velocity is touching 99 and he looks healthy. He will continue to stretch out before he returns to Cedar Rapids.

Chase Harlan

Harlan’s Impressive season continued and he reached base in all five games pitched. He went 6-18 with 4 doubles, 3 walks, and only 2 strikeouts. He has been great this year despite only being 19 years old.

Chris Cortez

Cortez continues to come out of the bullpen and had two solid appearances this week. He pitched a scoreless 1-2-3 innings with a strikeout in his first appearances. In his next, he allowed a hit and a walk in a scoreless inning. 2 strikeouts helped him escape trouble.

Cobb Hightower

Hightower is still out with an injury. No updates on his progress.

Cole Fontenelle

Fontenelle had a solid week and really needed this. He went 5-19 with 2 doubles and only 3 strikeouts. A step in the right direction for Cole.

Mathis only played in two games this week, but extended his hitting streak to seven games. He went 2-6 with a homerun, walk, and only 1 strikeout. Really limited sample size, but he has been impressive since his promotion.

Cole Messina

After going hitless last week, Messina bounced back this week. He hit in four of five games and went 5-15 with 2 doubles, 4 walks, and 4 strikeouts. Solid week for a hitter who really needed it.

Colin Houck

Houck started to break out of his slump last week and his impressive performance continued into this week. He recorded a hit in four straight games and went 6-20 with 2 homeruns, a double, and 5 strikeouts. There is still an issue with strikeouts, but he did improve and it resulted in him finally putting together back-to-back solid weeks.

Cooper Pratt

Pratt had an up and down week, but did flash offensively. He went 3-18 with a homerun, walk, and only 1 strikeout. Positives to carry into next week is his homer and the lack of strikeouts, but he also did not really get on base much at all.

Dillon Head

Head had a huge week and this was desperately needed. He reached base in all five games, and went 7-20 with a homerun, triple, 3 doubles, 3 walks, and 5 strikeouts. A huge step in the right direction.

Eddie Rynders

Rynders had his best week of the season and it was really needed. He went 7-18 with a homerun, triple, double, walk, and 8 strikeouts. Strikeouts are still a real concern, but this week was promising after a .154 average entering the week.

Edurado Quintero

Quintero struggled for most of the week, but still flashed. He went 6-22 with a homerun, double, 4 walks, and 6 strikeouts. Three hitless games in a row hurt his numbers, but he will bounce back.

Ethan Anderson

Anderson had another tough week but has limited his strikeouts. He went 2-18 with a double, 4 walks, and only 3 strikeouts. Anderson has always been a low strikeout rate guy, but had been struggling with this as of late.

Engelth Urena

Urena did not have a great week, but continues to show improvement on his approach by cutting his strikeouts. He went 2-9 with a double and 2 strikeouts. Limited sample size, but he has looked much better.

Fenwick Trimble

Trimble bounced back from a bad week to having an up and down one this week. He went 5-18 with a double, 6 walks, and 7 strikeouts. A lot of swing and miss, but he still found a way to reach base a lot.

Franklin Arias

Arias had a bounce back week and picked up where he had been before a tough week last week. He went 7-18 with 2 doubles, 3 walks, and 3 strikeouts. He makes a ton of contact and has been rewarded for it all season.

Hyun-Seok Jang

Jang has been really struggling lately and his last start was a disaster. He went 2.2 innings and allowed 10 runs (9 earned) on 7 hits, 2 hit batters, and 2 walks. 4 strikeouts was not enough to limit damage and it was another forgettable day for Jang.

Ivan Luciano

Luciano only played in four games this week, but reached base in all four of them. He went 5-18 with a double, 2 walks, and 3 strikeouts. Solid week, just not a large sample size.

Jack Penney

Jaison Chourio

Chourio has been amazing all season and his callup did not slow anything down. He was great last week, and continued this strong stretch of play this week. He went 6-20 with 2 homeruns, a triple, double, 2 walks, and only 3 strikeouts. He continues to impress and could definitely see another promotion.

Jared Serna

Serna has been on fire as of late and is riding a ten-game hitting streak. This week, he went 5-9 with 3 homeruns, 3 walks, and 2 strikeouts. An impressive stretch for Serna, as he is hitting .500 in June through seven games.
